Fortnite fans think a FNAF crossover is coming. Here's why.

Have you ever spotted something in Fortnite that made you do a double take? Well, players are currently losing it over a new building on the map that looks suspiciously like Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Could a Five Nights at Freddy's crossover be dropping soon?

It all started when a user named AlignedEclipse discovered a structure that looks a lot like the iconic pizzeria from the horror game series. Inside the building, there's even a stage where Freddy and the gang usually perform. Naturally, this set the Fortnite community abuzz, and well-known leaker HYPEX shared the find, which sparked even more speculation on X.

Fortnite's current season, called Override, is all about video games. Sonic the Hedgehog is already in the Battle Pass, and Mega Man and Crash Bandicoot are rumored to be coming soon too. Adding Five Nights at Freddy's to that lineup would fit right in, wouldn't it?

Some fans are theorizing that the FNAF crossover could tie into Fortnitemares, the game's annual Halloween event. That would be a real spooky time, huh? And it's not unlike how Five Nights at Freddy's has crossed over with other games before. It already teamed up with Dead by Daylight to bring Springtrap and the pizzeria into that game.

But before you get too excited, remember that nothing is official yet. Fortnite might just be building something vaguely familiar, and our minds might be filling in the blanks. Still, the official FNAF Twitter account has been stirring the pot by posting cryptic images that fans are taking as hints.

Five Nights at Freddy's has become a massive franchise, especially after its successful movie adaptation (even though the sequel got pretty bad reviews). The latest game, Secret of the Mimic, came out last year, so the series is still going strong.

So what do you think? Is an FNAF crossover coming to Fortnite, or is it just a coincidence? Let us know in the comments!
