Ready to take your guild to the top in Where Winds Meet's GvG? If you're playing Nameless, you're already on the right track. This DPS class is one of the best for GvG, and any serious guild needs one. But GvG is a different beast from PvE. It shares the basics of team PvP like 3v3 along with gear and positioning fundamentals, so you'll need to adapt. Let's take a closer look. The Bellstrike Splendor build that will turn you into a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
First, always aim for 4 sets (2 sets for bows) to unlock the maximum gear passives. Armor choice depends on your stats and playstyle. Hawkwing is solid if you haven't reached the 40% affinity rate threshold. It gives +3.7% affinity rate on affinity hits and 10% physical attack. Jadeware is stronger if you can maintain buff uptime, but you must consistently include your sword or spear martial skill (Q) in your rotation. If that's too much, stick with Hawkwing. Calmwaters is the easiest to use, restoring stamina and HP on Perfect Dodge with no cooldown. However, for GvG, Whirlsnow stands out the most. It triggers when you lose 40% or more of your max HP in a single hit or drop below 20%. If your next heal starts within 5 seconds, you recover an additional 25% of max HP (60-second cooldown). This keeps you alive without needing organized wipes. The third armor option is easy but has a weak passive. It's been obsolete ever since Whirlsnow arrived.
For accessory sets, pick Pursuing Shadow if you need +1.8% affinity. Otherwise, pick Amazing String for +3.7% crit rate. On gear, you should aim for gold initial lines, but purple is fine. When rerolling substats, you can get duplicates of initial stats, so prioritize slots with good initial stats. For weapons, go for max physical attack > Momentum (if the threshold is maxed). For discs and pendants, max physical attack is best. Helmet and chest armor: affinity > crit rate. Light armor and arm guards: power > affinity rate (if the threshold is maxed) > crit rate.
Now for the important part: stats. Art of Sword DMG Boost is the best multiplicative damage increase, but since it's rare, aim for x1.4~x1.5 max attack power. Affinity rate is capped at 40% (orange number), and affinity attack scales with max physical attack. Momentum gives 0.9 max physical attack and 0.038% affinity per point, and improves Nameless's sword martial arts. TS. Always reach the threshold. At level 95, it's 225. Max physical attack is the next most important stat after the threshold. Get at least one per piece, two if possible. Power gives 1.36 max physical attack and 0.225 min physical attack, but max physical attack is better. Boost vs. player units and all martial arts boosts are rare but stack. You can get them. Crit rate cap is 80%, and precision cap is 100%, but you only need a little precision so you don't steal proficiency procs. Max Bellstrike Attack is the best attribute attack, but other classes' Min Attribute Attack (e.g., Stonesplit) is actually better because it's consistent with no damage variance. Avoid Min Bellstrike Attack. It's a dead stat for Nameless swords.
For engravings, pick two different ones (duplicates don't stack). Gold versions are best, but purple versions work. The essentials for GvG are: recover 50 stamina and gain Tenacity for 3 seconds after an execution skill (arena), and Vagrant Sword recovering 15 stamina and dealing 12% bonus HP damage when hitting a non-defending unit (every 3 seconds). Also consider features that increase physical penetration, immobilize duration, and stun. However, these only apply to the defensive team. Vitality recovery is good for support but not for pure DPS.
