Silkbind Jade Build Guide: Master the Umbrella in Where Winds Meet

Have you ever felt like Silkbind Jade doesn't hit as hard as expected? Whether you're trying to cut down your speedrun times or dominate in PvP, getting the right stats and gear is crucial. Let's break down the perfect build for both scenarios.

First, let's talk stats. For a balanced approach, you'll want to aim for around a 73% crit rate (or 80% if you're using the Rainwhisper set). Your max physical should be between 2500 and 2700, with a minimum physical around 1000 to 1100. You'll also need 100% accuracy and 225 agility (at level 95). If you're using Hawking, your affinity should be 17-20%.

As for stat priority, start with max physical attack, then agility (until you hit the threshold), crit rate (up to the threshold), precision rate (up to the threshold), and power. If you're using the Hawking set, add Momentum until you hit the affinity threshold. After that, boost minimum physical attack and minimum attributes for other classes. Finish with Max Silkbind and you're good to go.

Now let's look at gear. Your weapon set should focus on physical penetration, while your armor set should boost Vernal Umbrella special skill damage. The Art of Umbrella damage boost is ideal for speedruns. One roll is good, but two rolls is even better. For fast running, also look for all martial arts boost % and boost vs. boss units (2 rolls or more). For PvP or GvG, prioritize boost vs. player units.

Let's talk skills. In PvP/GvG, the execute skill restores 30 vitality and HP equal to 20% of the damage dealt, giving you great sustain. After breaking a target's defense with the defense break skill, the target takes 12% increased damage for 5 seconds. Also, the martial arts skill: Far Throw of Spring's Sorrow increases the duration of the immobilize by 0.6 seconds (or 1.0 second if you have Tenacity).

For PvP, if the Verdant Brushstroke - Light Attack Charge skill hits a unit with less than 30% Qi, you gain Windrider, allowing you to cast an enhanced aerial combo. And if the Vernal Umbrella - Light Attack Charge skill hits a non-blocking unit, it deals 1 additional Qi damage and applies a stack of Spring Spirit. At 18 stacks, the target is immobilized for 0.6 seconds - optional, but great for 5v5.

Defensively, the control removal skill removes stagger or control effects and grants you Tenacity for 2 seconds (or 2.8 seconds) after super armor is worn down. Damage taken while staggered is reduced by 20% (or 28%). And after evading an enemy attack, you recover 6% (or 8%) of your max HP.

So whether you're using min-max for speedruns or gearing up for PvP, these tips should help. Did this build work for you? Let us know in the comments!
