Afterglow Quest Guide: How to Fly a Meteor in Where Winds Meet

Have you ever felt like you're missing out on a cool move in Where Winds Meet? The Afterglow quest is your ticket to unlocking the impressive Meteor Flight skill, and it's easier than you think. Let's dive in!

Afterglow is part of the Jianghu Legacy quest and becomes available before you complete Chapter 1 - No Pier in Heaven. You'll want to grab it as soon as possible since the rewards are sweet. Here's how to complete it.

**Starting the Quest**

Open your map and head to the quest marker southeast of the Wraith Village Boundary Stone. Once you arrive, you'll find a fisherman near a small pond. Go ahead and talk to him. He's no ordinary fisherman!

**Meeting Qiu Yuehai**

The fisherman reveals that he is actually Qiu Yuehai and possesses a technique that lets him leap high and travel far. He demonstrates how to use Meteor Flight to move to a spot near the Blissful Retreat. Impressive, right? But he then slowly beckons you over and gives you a challenge to prepare for.

**The Jumping Challenge**

Qiu Yuehai places a series of wine jugs in the water and gives you five minutes to jump across them and reach the boat on the water. It sounds tough, but with good timing, you'll pull it off.

Here's the step-by-step method:

1. **Jump onto the first two jugs** – go slowly and plant your feet. 2. **Double jump to reach the third jug** - time the second jump precisely. 3. **Triple jump and dash on the next two jugs** - use your dash to keep your momentum. 4. **Dash-jump onto the last jug** – this will let you board the boat.

Once you land on the boat, talk to Qiu Yuehai again. He'll point you to a bench where the Meteor Flight manual is waiting. Interact with it and boom - you've learned the Mystic Art Meteor Flight!
