Have you ever wanted to stand out with a new hair color in the world of Where Winds Meet? The character creator offers a few options, but changing your hair color later takes a bit of legwork. Here's everything you need and how to do it.
First, you'll need a specific currency to change your hair color. There are two types of hair dye items you can use.
- **Inkshade Hairdye** โ Lets you choose basic, subdued colors. - **Timeless Hairdye** โ Lets you create bold styles with bright, vibrant colors.
These dyes are available in the Draw Shop. Each Inkshade Hairdye costs 5 Essence of Earth, while Timeless Hairdye comes in bundles of 5 from Hairdye Gift Boxes that cost 1 Harmonic Core.

To get the currency you need, open the main menu and select **Draw**. If you're level 3 or higher, you can choose between two draw types.
- **Solemn Echo Draw** โ Always gives at least one Essence of Earth. It requires Resonating Melodies, which you can buy with Echo Jades found during your adventures. - **Celestial Echo Draws** โ Have a 0.747% chance of giving a Harmonic Core. They require Echo Beads, a premium currency you can buy in the shop.
Once you've got your dye, it's time to change your hair! Open the **Appearance** menu and go to the **Workshop** tab.

Select **Dye**, then choose the hairstyle you want to color. Not every hairstyle can be dyed. For example, the hairstyle you start with can't be dyed. To check if a hairstyle can be dyed, look for the multicolored icon in the bottom right corner of its thumbnail.
After selecting a hairstyle, decide between basic hair dye (Inkshade Hairdye) or advanced hair dye (Timeless Hairdye). You can then customize the base, gradient, and highlight colors. If you're happy with your new design, press **Save**.
And that's it! You're all set to rock a new hair color in Where Winds Meet. Did this guide help? Let us know in the comments!
